Tri-County 2010/2011 Season

1)      After a close vote and much discussion, the following changes have been agreed to:

·        The season for Novice to Minor Midget will remain at 28 games, and Major Midget will be reduced to 26 games;

·        Tournaments will remain at 3 during the regular season;

·        The season will start September 25^th, 2010 and end January 15^th , 2011;

·        Midget games between teams more than 1 hour in travel distance apart will try to have an earlier start time, the latest being about 8:30pm;  Centres are to work in a cooperative manner in this regard.

2)      Officials from the home centre will officiate ALL league playoff games including Finals, and also all O.M.H.A. round robin games and Quarter-final series between Tri-County teams.

3)      Playoff games for Midgets during EXAM time did not seem to be an issue, therefore, Centres will work among themselves to schedule games with the least amount of disruption and conflict.

4)      March Break play is still encouraged, however the break has been defined as starting on the first Friday of that week and continuing until (and including) the following Saturday; Sunday will be a scheduled game day.  If Centres are available to play during March Break, those games should be played.

5)      Protests of TCMHL playoff games will be forwarded to the President of TCMHL, who will undertake the review.
